Welcome
You might be in the right place if…
You find yourself caught in spirals of worry, overthinking, or restlessness.
Accessing your emotions feels overwhelming.
You’re stuck in patterns you know aren’t serving you.
You’ve experienced deep loss or change, and the world hasn’t felt the same since.
Something feels absent or unspoken—in your relationships, your work, or your sense of self.
You’re a perfectionist, a deep feeler, and often tuned in to what others need before your own needs even register.
You’re ready to alchemize your pain into something meaningful—something real.
I work with adults in Center City Philadelphia and across Pennsylvania via teletherapy, creating spaces where healing is collaborative, creative, and deeply personalized. My approach is intuitive, relational, and grounded in curiosity—not cookie-cutter solutions.
I especially welcome those who have often felt different: the sensitive, the seekers, the neurodivergent, the queer, the ones who carry grief like a secret language. You're not too much—and you're not alone.
Take your time exploring this space. If something here feels like home, I’d be honored to hear from you.

Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.

About Me
I’m Colette Grosso (she/her), a licensed clinical social worker, a deeply feeling human, and someone who has spent a lifetime wanting too much—of connection, of understanding, of life itself. I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that healing doesn’t come from having all the answers, but from softening into the questions, trusting a process, and letting others walk beside you.
I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to help you make meaning, find your footing, and grow something wise and lasting from the wreckage. My work is grounded in post-traumatic growth—what happens after the rupture, when we begin to piece ourselves back together with more clarity, courage, and care. Whether you're healing from grief, addiction, relational trauma, or a sense of misalignment you can't quite name, I hold space for all of it.
I bring over 15 years of experience in social services, along with clinical training in sex therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based approaches. While I began my career focused on sexuality, I’m drawn to work that is more somatic, spiritual, and soul-level—less about thinking our way out of pain and more about befriending our inner experience. I’m in an ongoing process of learning to listen to the body and trust what arises from within.
I believe in the empowerment of individuals and communities and pay particular attention to the forces that act on us due to gender presentation, sex, race, culture, class, ability, weight, and sexual orientation. I offer a space where LGBTQIA+, kinky, neurodiverse, and other expansively lived folks don’t have to explain themselves or tone it down. I believe the things that nearly undo us are also the things that can wake us up and point us back toward ourselves.
Types of Therapy I Offer
Services
-
Individual therapy offers a space for reflection, healing, and the potential for post-traumatic growth—whether in my serene office setting or virtually from the comfort of your home. I work with people navigating the edges of loss, change, and identity—those moments that feel like they might break us, but instead become catalysts for deeper self-understanding and growth. Creative, sensitive, and searching individuals are warmly welcomed here; your full self belongs.
-
Group therapy invites collective healing through connection, story, and shared presence. Rooted in the principles of post-traumatic growth, our groups explore the transformative potential of pain—how the experiences that stretch us to our edges can also open space for integration, self-trust, and creative renewal. While I draw on parts work (IFS), somatic awareness, and spiritual grounding, the real wisdom often comes from the group itself. This is a space where you are encouraged to bring your whole self—messy, vibrant, uncertain, becoming. No fixing, just deep listening, gentle curiosity, and the power of being witnessed.
-
Psychedelic journey preparation and integration support is offered as a space to explore the insights, emotions, and questions that can arise before and after altered states of consciousness. Grounded in curiosity, safety, and respect for your inner healing intelligence, this work is not about analyzing or pathologizing, but about helping you make meaning of what emerges. While I’m early in my formal training, I bring a deep commitment to presence, parts work (IFS), and somatic awareness to guide the process. Together, we’ll create space to slow down, reflect, and stay connected to what matters most. Your experience—whether expansive, confusing, beautiful, or painful—is welcomed here.

Not at this time. Many insurance companies will reimburse you for a portion of your therapy sessions. Prior to starting treatment, you may want to call them to determine your “out of network” benefits. I’ll provide you with a “superbill” to submit to them and they will send you a check for a portion of your treatment fees.

If you have been the victim of a crime, you may be eligible for therapy funds through the Victims Compensation Assistance Program.
If you need a lower sliding scale, Open Path Collective provides sessions for $30-$70.

Sessions are 50 minutes and typically occur weekly to start. You’ll take the lead in bringing what feels most important to you each week—I believe you are the best source of knowledge about your own experience. Together, we’ll explore what’s coming up in a pace and style that feels right for you.

Just reach out with a message. We'll schedule a consultation call to explore whether we're a good fit, talk through what’s bringing you here, and decide on next steps together.

That depends—healing isn’t a straight line. Some folks drop in for a short arc to work through something specific; others stick around longer to untangle deeper threads or have a steady space to land. We’ll treat the process like a collaboration: regularly checking in, shifting pace when needed, and letting the work evolve alongside you. Therapy requires an investment of time, energy, and resources. You may see immediate results and relief as you share your story and start to learn tools. However I specialize in depth-based, relational work, where the most progress will be seen over time.
